Dreaming Petal Points Quilt by Bhiravi @strawberrycreekquilts

Hi, friends! This is the second in a series of posts I’ll be sharing to show off some fun and beautiful ways you can use the fabrics from my latest collection Dreaming now available at Hawthorne Supply Co.

This beautiful quilt was made by Bhiravi @strawberrycreekquilts using her Petal Points Quilt Pattern which is available in her shop.

Bhiravi chose a serene batch of blues and neutrals for this project, making this quilt truly dreamy. It’s absolutely perfect for snuggling and sweet dreams.

A Bit About Bhiravi

Bhiravi, based near Strawberry Creek in Berkley, CA, offers beautiful handmade quilts, pillows, and bags as well as digital quilt patterns and Catnip Hearts in her shop. I so admire her for the thoughtfulness and honesty she brings to her work and to her platforms. In addition to being a very talented maker herself, she is also an advocate for makers as a whole.

After stumbling across Bhiravi on “quiltstagram”, my Quilt Buzz cohorts and I met her virtually face-to-face while presenting a live interview to the Portland Modern Quilt Guild. It was such a fun experience getting to know a bit about Bhiravi’s story. I love Bhiravi’s passion and design style so I asked her to make a project with some of my fabrics.

Dreaming Fabrics

For this project, Bhiravi used all quilting cotton. She used Morning Glories (in storm) and Moongarden (in lapis) for the foreground of the quilt top design. Overcast (in fog) and Pheobe Dot (in dew) were used for the background. Then she used Dreamscape (in storm) for the backing and for the binding Overcast (in sky).

Dreaming

This quilt made with fabric from my Dreaming collection is just one gorgeous example of how versatile the designs can be. Hawthorne Supply Co. offers my collection in over twelve substrates so the project possibilities are endless. Bags, quilts, clothing, accessories … whatever you can dream up.

The Dreaming fabric collection is available at Hawthorne Supply Co.

Don’t forget to follow Bhiravi on Instagram and check out her shop.
